Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Patel loves that dentistry is a seamless blend of artistry and science, and he is always curious to learn more about different procedures so that he can help others even more effectively with their unique goals and needs. A smile is the most important part of someone’s personality, and he feels very proud to be a part of the field that specifically focuses on improving this all-too crucial part of the body for the better.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Patel’s educational journey got started in India, where he attended Manubhai Patel Dental College and completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Following graduation, he worked as a lecturer and a clinician in his hometown’s dental college before deciding to come to the USA. Here, he completed his MBA in Healthcare Management at the University of Findlay before finally pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University, finishing the degree in 2013.

Today, Dr. Patel remains very committed to furthering his training through continuing education courses. He is currently a member of the following professional organizations:

Outside the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Patel currently lives in the Irving area with his wife. His personal hobbies include sports, playing tennis and golf, and spending quality time with friends and family. He’s also a passionate traveler – being able to visit different countries and learn more about other cultures is always an enlightening experience!
